Coastal Centerpiece for February

  • 03/07/2015

It’s March already and I’m just now posting our Coastal Centerpiece for February!

We sold our camera on Ebay before I took all the shots I needed for this post.  So…I had to wait until our new camera arrived in March.

February is a special month for us!

In February we celebrate our wedding anniversary, my dad’s birthday, a granddaughter’s birthday, and Valentine’s Day!

 So…here it is…Coastal Centerpiece

Coastal Centerpiece for February

Of course, the black, white, and red is carried over from January’s Coastal Centerpiece.  Which can be seen here.

The Live, Laugh & Love containers are tea tins that I painted last year with black and white acrylic paint, then distressed and the decals added.  I also painted a Mason jar and cut out a heart so the flicker of a tea light candle can be seen through the clear glass.  Another tea light is set on the black placemat surrounded by white seaglass and shells.  Two additional candles in sand pails join a red Longaberger basket to complete the beautiful centerpiece for February.

Sweetheart Basket

Let me call you Sweetheart basket

Here the basket holds chocolates!  Typically, the basket holds cotton swabs in our master bath.

Coastal Centerpiece Candlelight

Candlelight!  We do enjoy dinning by candlelight.

I remember having the flu on our anniversary and again on Valentine’s Day this year.  Yuck!

We did celebrate a week later!

I was so thankful that my husband didn’t get the flu.

Seven days into March and I haven’t even thought about this month’s centerpiece.

Will it contain red?  Don’t know.

Will it contain black and white?  Yes!

Will it contain a basket? Don’t know yet.

Will it contain candlelight?  Definitely!!!

I so love the elements of this centerpiece that I can’t bring myself to change it just yet.

But since February is over, and I have photographed and finished this post; maybe I can start designing my Coastal Centerpiece for March!

Hope you enjoyed our centerpiece.

We do enjoy reading your comments.
