As I am typing this post I look out the window and most of the leaves have fallen off the trees. Last night we experienced below freezing temperatures, but one of our Hibiscus plants on the back deck has 3 new blooms. Of course, my Hubby tells me that I need to snap pics today…before their gone. The sun shining so I’ll wait until the blooms are bathed in sunshine!
Now for the 4th Coastal Centerpiece.
If you’ve seen my previous centerpieces then you see some common elements…coconut candles, flowers, black and white color theme, and shells. The lantern is by Yankee Candle…the vase is one of my painted Mason Jars. The Mason Jar is painted with the Looking Glass spray paint over black paint to create Faux Mercury Glass.
Bird of Paradise
Oyster Shells on a elastic string, Coconut candles, and crushed shells.
We enjoy the soft glow of candlelight as we eat dinner at the table. It brings a calm after a busy day. You can see the Faux Mercury Glass Mason Jar used as a vase here.
If you read about my first Coastal Centerpiece I wrote that I was going to create twelve different centerpieces this year. Life gets in the way…here it is near the end of November and this is the only the 4th one. I have loved each centerpiece and each one has deserved to be displayed for more than a month. So there won’t be twelve this year…I will continue arranging Coastal Centerpieces next year too!
Hope you enjoyed our Coastal Centerpiece!
Till’ Next Time!
