Our South Carolina Adventure Continues…

A God Thing…

We appreciate America in all Her Glory –  and wanted to Experience Our Southeastern Coastline.  Truly, SC is to be joined into your memories.  Birds, foliage, animals, reptiles, and history.  “Oh” – that we could ALL spend Time there.

Live, Laugh, LOVE Within and on the Perimeters of this Southern Adventure!

We camped at the Edisto Beach State Park…which was a very nice treed campground on Edisto Island.  The Atlantic Coast and the proximity to Charleston were the main reasons for using it as our base camp.  Then, we drove to Charleston to see the Hunley…which has been on our Bucket List for some time; and at this time it’s encased in Phase 2 of its Restoration.

Bird photography was high on our list….we stopped at Folly Beach County Park…hoping to photograph pelicans.

But we spotted a couple of Powered -Paragliders…

So our adventure continued on to Edisto Island.

Where we spotted Pelicans and Dolphins…along with fishing boats.

Pelican Passing…

Pelican Flying Low…think he was hoping for a handout from one of the fishing boats.

We made a fast trip to Hunting Island State Park and was able to photograph the lighthouse.

Gone Day…upon leaving the state park we were able to pull off and capture a beautiful sunset!

Fond Memories of SC…

Many heart thoughts now, then, and forever…

A trip to be remembered, etched in family, and for times to come.

Part II of our wonderful Wiley Adventure on the South Carolina Coast!  Part I was our visit to the ACE Basin Wildlife Refuge where we ran into several Alligators.
