FEB 20(Fri): DEPART USA Depart from the USA for a transatlantic flight to Athens.

FEB 21 (Sat): ARRIVAL ATHENS & TOUR The architectural splendors of the ancient city of Athens are as magical as ever. Follow your guide on a journey to the ancient Acropolis where you will see the Propylaea, the Parthenon and the Erectheum. View Mars Hill where Paul preached the gospel to the intellectual Athenian community of his day (Acts 17: 15-34). View the ruins of the Agora, ancient market place and center of Athenian public life, where Paul preached to the skeptical Athenians. You will view the Olympic Stadium, where the modern Olympics began and where the games returned in 2004.

FEB 22 (Sun): CORINTH-KATAKOLON CRUISE EMBARKATION
Visit Corinth (Acts 18: 1-18), a city that inspired of St. Paul’s most familiar letter. You will visit the Archeological Museum, the Market Place, and Temples. Walk among the ruins and stand on the Bema where Paul stood. Read Paul’s letter to the Corinthians and visualize his address to the Gentiles as he began the task of building Corinth’s church. Imagine where Aquila and Priscilla lived and where they had their tent making business. Continue for embarkation on board MSC FANTASIA!

FEB 23 (Mon) HERAKLION This morning our ship will dock at the legendary island of Crete and of Minoan civilization, home of Zorbas. Visit the Minoan Palace of Knossos, where King Minos lived and where the Labyrinth and the Minotaur was located. According to Acts, Apostle Paul stopped on the island of Crete during his time in chains. It was here that he left Titus to lead the church he started.

FEB 24 (Tue) DAY AT SEA Today you will enjoy a relaxing day at sea. You will have the opportunity to study and reflect of your journey so far.

FEB 25 (Wed) JERUSALEM-BETHLEHEM Your cruise ship is docked in Haifa from Haifa, you’ll travel to Jerusalem to pray at the Western Wall. Stand upon the Mount of Olives and view the city as Jesus did. wander among the olive trees of the Garden of Gethsemane. You’ll walk along the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Enter the Old City and visit the Pool of Bethesda. Worship together in the Garden Tomb. From Jerusalem we continue to Bethlehem where you’ll visit the cave revered as the place where Jesus was born (Matt. 1: 18-25; Luke 2: 1-7). The church, which was constructed on the site, is the word’s oldest functioning church. Nearby you’ll view Shepherds’ Field where the Good News was first heard. Continue to Jerusalem where you will visit the Upper Room, the traditional site of the Last Supper. Continue to the House of the High Priest Caiaphas, where Jesus was tried before the Senhedrin. Finally, visit the Western Wall, the last remains of the Herodian Temple and the holiest site in Judaism.

FEB 26 (Thu) THE GALILEE 
Your cruise ship docks in the port of Haifa. Travel inland to the Sea of Galilee. Much of the Gospel is centered around the Sea. You’ ll stand on the Mount of the Beatitudes where Jesus gave his most famous sermon (Luke 6:12-49). At Tabgha, the traditional location for the calling of the desciples and the feeding of the 5000, you’ll visit the Church of the Fish and the Loaves (Luke 9:10-17). You’ll aslo visit the Chapel of the Primacy where three times Peter professed his devotion to the risen Christ (John 21). You’ll travel to the shore town of Capernaum where Jesus called Peter, Andrew, James, John (Matt 4:13)and later Matthew, and you’ll stop by the River Jordan where those who wish to be baptized may do so.

FEB 28 (Sat): PIRAEUS – ATHENS

MAR 01 (Sun) DAY AT SEA Today you will enjoy a relaxing day at sea. You will have the opportunity to study and reflect of your journey so far.

MAR 02 (Mon) CIVITAVECCHIA-ROME Disembark the cruise ship. Transfer to Rome Tour. This morning you will discover Imperial Rome. Paul wrote to the Christians of Rome and he eventually went there where his ministry continued, although he was technically a prisoner. You will experience the glory of Imperial Rome when you visit the Coliseum, famous as a place of spectacle and death. Gladiators died here as thousands looked on. See the Circus Maximus, built during the reign of Nero. This huge stadium was able to seat 250,000 spectators for chariot races and other spectacles. See the Roman Forum, an ancient meeting place, market place, religious and political centre. View the Arch of Titus that commemorates Titus’ conquest of Judea. You’ll visit the Mamertina Prison, where it is believed that both Peter and Paul were imprisoned.

MAR 3 (Tue) CHRISTIAN ROME You’ll discover the Vatican Museum, home to many of the world’s masterpieces. Enter the Sistine Chapel and view Michelangelo’s frescoes, which have been restored to their full, colourful glory. Tour St. Peter’s Basilica where Michelangelo’s “Pieta” — the only work signed by the master — will be just one of many highlights. Travel along the famous Apian Way. Walk through the Catacombs of San Sebastiano. Visit Tre Fontane, where Apostle Paul was beheaded. Walk through Via Del Corso, Piazza de Spagnia, and enjoy the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Piazza Navona.

MAR 4 (Wed) DEPARTURE Transfer to the airport and fly back home.
