Weekend Getaway Essentials

  • 03/01/2017

March is a perfect month for a weekend getaway.

There are many fabulous destinations to choose from like a Tropical Seaside Escape,

14 Featured Hotels & Resorts.

Whether you are looking for warmer weather or want to ski the snow covered slopes.

I personally prefer the sun, sand, and sea…so I am creating a Weekend Getaway Essentials Capsule for the beach!

My favorite piece of clothing is a maxi dress.  It is serves as a coverup at the beach…then you can head to lunch as well as walk around and shop.

Elan V-Back Cover-up Maxi

I chose this maxi in burgundy for a pop of color.  Then add a pair of black sandals…they will complete other outfits in this Weekend Getaway Capsule.

Sam Edelman ‘Gemma’ Lace Sandal

One of my favorite things to do at the beach is to take a long walk either in the early morning or in the evening. I enjoy wearing leggings because of the comfortable spandex that moves with me.

Zella ‘Hatha’ High Waist Crop Leggings

Love that these leggings have a High Waist…because of lower back pain, these feel better than pants or leggings that sit below the waist.  Adding a tank top allows for better tan lines…than a short sleeve top.

Nike Essential Tank

The longer length of loose fit of this tank covers the tummy and bottom.  If it is cool out then I like to add a jacket over the tank top.

Zella Hannah Hoodie

This hoodie has pockets for your cellphone, keys, lip gloss, and tissue. The Zella Hannah can be worn with the maxi dress above…when you are sitting in a restaurant with the air conditioner on high!

NYDJ Ami Release Hem Skinny Jeans

NYDJ is one of my favorite jean brands.  They just fit right…and they’re comfortable!

Bobeau Cold Shoulder High/Low Top

This fluidly draped long sleeve top can be paired with the white jeans and the cropped leggings.  The sleeves can be worn down or pushed up. Black and White is a favorite combination of mine.

Walking is something we do a lot of on our travels.  So a comfortable white sneaker is perfect.

Vans Classic Sneaker

My daughter-in-law loves Vans.  She has several pairs…and she has my grandsons wearing them too.

Sand Dollar Round Beach Towel

The 60″ round beach towel has taken the internet by storm.  These are extremely popular at the beach…and also in your home decor.  The Sand Dollar design is by our own Doc Wiley.  The mixed media print is part of our Coastal Series.  Two other designs of the Round Beach Towel can be seen here.

The North Face Venture 2 Waterproof Jacket

You never know when it might rain. So it is best to pack a waterproof jacket.  We always have one with us…even if it the forecast isn’t calling for rain.

Nerium Age-Defying Night Cream
Nerium Age-Defying Day Cream
Nerium Eye Serum
Nerium Eye-V Moisture Boost Hydrogel Patches
Nerium EHT Supplement

I won’t leave home without my skincare and EHT Supplement. Click on the link above to see real results of women and men using the Nerium products. Use the Nerium Firming body Contour Cream to get ready for your swimsuit or sleeveless tops.  Check out the video here.

Hydro Flask Standard Mouth Bottle with Sport Cap

The Hydro Flask is a well-insulated stainless steel bottle that keeps all your beverages the perfect temperature, hot or cold. This one with the sport cap is great for my cold beverages.

Hydro Flask Wide Mouth Coffee Thermos with Flip Lid

This Hydro Flask with the flip top is the one I prefer for coffee and warm tea.  I have filled this one with hot water and place a few tea bags in it to make ice tea.  Once the tea bags are done steeping then I remove them and add ice.  I haven’t had any issues with it leaking.

So there you have my list for Weekend Getaway Essentials.

I know it isn’t a complete list…add your pajamas and undies.

What one thing do you absolutely take on your Weekend Getaway?

Till Next Time!
